Chap-A The range on this album is amazing, swooping from highs to lows, introspection to extroversaion. The music goes from the exhilarating to the sublime, lyrically from the macro to the micro, pitching very specific found object details against sweeping brushstrokes on the human condition.
Once again Future Islands have gone away, grown their sound and returned with something truly amazing. Favorite track: The Tower.

Thornswrath King of Sweden was an instant classic when it was released last year around Valentine's Day, and The Tower just hits on all cylinders, already tracking its way toward being another all time favorite tune, thank you Future Islands for always keeping it real.
